RGB

The RGB values stand for values of the colors Red, Green and Blue (R, G, B). Each color value ranges from 0 to 255. For example, if you want to create the color red, you would write 255 comma 0 comma 0 (red is at 255). If you have maximum values for each (255 comma 255 comma 255), you will create white, whereas if you have 0 comma 0 comma 0, you will get black.

Hex values

Hex codes use a hexadecimal number system to make it possible for 256 numbers to be represented with only two digits. Hex code byte values range from 00, which is the lowest intensity of a color, to FF which represents the highest intensity. Although hex values are common in design, color mixing hex values is beyond the scope of this class. We do however, provide the hex values of 216 colors below.
